A Case of Abuse

Today I will try to illustrate through a case study, theoretical aspects in the records 11 (games in which we participate. Drama versus melodrama).

This is Lola, a single patient of 40 years and brilliant lawyer. You have a mother diagnosed with schizophrenia for 30 years. It is the oldest of four siblings and parents are separated since she was 14.

As a psychotherapist, my "observing ego" (see tab 6) is realized by analyzing their seemingly banal remark, that for his psyche, whether it was working "could not afford to fall asleep," while if it was "good for it "(therapy), no matter if he fell asleep and was late.

Because of its history, Lola was very accustomed to abuse. We can state that had a "master" ill-treatment, because from his father (also a lawyer and explodes in his office), brothers (who do not help in the maintenance of the mother and go completely of it), mother ( that even in times when it's OK not thank you all, nor has the slightest gesture toward her maternal) and men in general, all the abusers.

Lola was so used to this abuse, which came to him. He complained, but continued to exercise in masochism or abuse. Now every masochist needs a corresponding Sadic executioners or abuser. It was an unwitting accomplice of sado-masochistic melodrama, where accomplices were the parents, brothers and men in general.

What was particularly severe case of Lola, is that the initial comment, it was clear that not only mistreated others but that she had come to identify fully with the role of masochism. She unconsciously abused to deprive a good therapeutic space, boycotted by arriving late to therapy.

Returning to the session, we see that Lola had some notion of conflict. That is their "observing ego" was the warning that something was wrong and it was the healthy part, which led her to the query.
