Economy of Pakistan

Pakistan is a South Asian country of 180 million people with $ 164 billion of GDP, contributing 19.6%, 26.8% and 53.7% respectively of agriculture, industry and services. The income per capita is about $ 1022 and the Human Development Index (HDI) is 0.52, Pakistan is a country populated with 5 6 largest army in the world; scanned area is about 803,940 km2, are about the external debt $ 50.1 billion.

This country has exceptional potential for growth, has achieved a growth rate of 6.8% in 2006-7 is currently at 2%. Pakistan's economy is based on agriculture, textiles, craft, and remittances from abroad. Services sector has grown rapidly over the past two decades, particularly the telecommunications industry has been enormous arm.

Several sectors are supporting the economy of Pakistan with a central role in the agricultural sector as shown by its national emblem, this country has wonders treasures of natural resources, with four seasons, fertile land, better irrigation system, some of the largest deposits of resources natural, the highest mountain chains, coast 1050 miles, vast deserts and fertile lands the best, is certainly one of the most blessed on earth. Despite having all these qualities the political and economic conditions are worse.

This country has 70% of the population connected with the rural sector, but the area is neglected and underdeveloped and that works well below its capacity. Proper planning, organization, management and monitoring is needed.

The main issues are easy to understand, here is a taste of some common problems. The annual budget for 2009-2010 is approximately $ 33.1 billion for the whole country, the major part is consumed by the defense services and the creation of credit is $ 13.09 billion divided by $ 9.2 billion and $ 4.07 billion, respectively; remainder is left for all other sectors.

On the other hand some '2, $ 02 billion was looted by politicians, and about $ 2.2 billion was written off as the record of the sufferings in the last 13 years, the beneficiaries are the elite class of the country. This class is not willing to cede influence the fundamental right of the people for common men, especially in rural areas. In particular, the common man does not want to be educated.

Without going deep into the data, in general, is an open secret that the conditions are not favorable, but still not that much worse as it is perceived and represented on different platforms. Here we come directly to the Directive certain measures that can help guide things in the right direction.

First of all the needs of Pakistan:

Ø To understand that agriculture is the strength of the economy of Pakistan and need to be taken seriously by the government and the public sector.

Ø To give farmers in excess of the market easily

Ø To train and manage human capital

o For the media play their role to boost the economy

Ø To give much attention to the management and use of resources.

Education is the most neglected and poorly managed and one of the causes of corruption, incompetence, inaction. This area should be:

or altered in terms of program and system of education

or has adopted a fair policy and long-term, managed by a transparent system

Or Change the double standards of education in a program the same for everyone.

Energy crisis is the biggest current problem for the country and badly affecting the manufacturing sector, the solution is:

Ø To be able to rent the efficient and honest person (People Management)

Ø To add new generating capacity, energy

Ø To manage the existing power housed in an effective

Ø To timely payments to power plants for hire.

Many problems have direct and indirect effects on the economy and require immediate consideration, which can be studied in their subjective domain.

Thanks .......
